How it works

A simple route from “something changes” to a useful daily record.

ASH is designed to help a family observe patterns over time without requiring a real name, location or advertising profile.

Create a carer account

Use an email for account access and password recovery.

Create a profile

A nickname is enough. A legal name is not required.

Check in

The young person answers when they want to. The goal is consistency, not pressure.

Review & share

Use the longitudinal view during conversations with a professional if useful.

What gets recorded

ASH records the answers deliberately entered into the diary: daily symptom scores, menstrual bleeding/cycle information, supplementary observations and optional context fields available in the app.

What ASH does not do

  • It does not diagnose PMDD, PME, depression, ADHD, autism or another condition.
  • It does not recommend changes to medication or treatment.
  • It does not require a young person to complete a check-in.
  • It does not contact emergency services or act as a live safety-monitoring system.

Why daily recording matters

A single difficult day says little about a cycle-related pattern. The purpose of ASH is to make repeated observations easier to retain and compare over time, so a clinician can interpret the information in the context of the individual young person.

Safety responses are different from ordinary symptom scores. If there is immediate danger, a current suicide plan or intent, a recent attempt, or the young person cannot remain safe, the appropriate response is urgent human support — not waiting for the diary to reveal a pattern.
